Hello students! Is anyone out there? I am in my classroom working today and getting ready for a great year.

7th Graders: I need a vacation..help me find a locale by selecting a country of the world to explore through a research paper. More details to follow, but please be thinking about where you'd like to 'take the class'...It's a big world, you know!

8th Graders: Anyone up for The LA Word? Yes, it is an 8th grade tradition and you have had the baton passed to you. Here's your chance! Be thinking about what you'd like YOUR column to be. Want to write a sports column, a 'what not to wear' column, an advice column? The ideas are endless. I can't wait to see what you come up with! Also, be aware that our theme for the year is 'gratitude'.
